Why didn't you work all three in the same manner? Why was #4 worked differently; they all started with a negative?

Hello @MatyTheHebrew. -4y and -11 have have only -1 in common so I pulled out a negative to write in front of the parentheses. You do not have to write -1 because it’s implied that 1 is behind the negative symbol. #5 and #6 actually had a number that needed to be expressed to show the greatest common factor between the two terms.
