I was a member of The Black Panthers as a teenager. What we did was to teach our people our history and why we shouldn't accept white oppression. The most provocative thing we did back then was to feed Black children breakfast before school. I know because I was directly involved in serving those breakfasts in my city in Mississippi. We were not a violent group, we simply opened our people's eyes to white supremacy. This is what white America didn't like.
