The Negro Was Built to Last - Many say that emancipation made things better for Blacks, but did it? As we commemorate the 400th anniversary of the arrival of enslaved Negroes to this country, we will take a look at the struggle of so-called African Americans since 1619. It is now 400 years later and Blacks have endured centuries of federal, state, and local discrimination, hate crimes, eugenics, the prison industrial complex and the drug epidemic that continue to negatively impact Blacks to this present day.
