.⁣Akata / Akatta / Chata. (The History of the Slanderous word):
- Akatta has a positive meaning inside Igbo Nation — “never lacks,” prosperity, industry, and the proud identity of the Akatta community in Imo State. No one disputes that.
But the reason this word has become “the elephant in the room” is because the pan‑African slang meaning did NOT come from Igbo language at all. Across West Africa, “Akata” is used only for Black Americans — not for any other African group. That’s extremely unusual and suggests the word has another historical pathway outside Igboland.
Here’s the part most people don’t know:
1. The Trans‑Atlantic Slave Trade involved Hebrew‑speaking and Israelite‑descended people.
Portuguese and Spanish crews included Sephardic Jews expelled from Iberia. Many were deported to São Tomé, Cape Verde, Guinea, Sierra Leone, and the Niger Delta — exactly where enslaved Africans were taken from. African middlemen often adopted foreign words from these traders.
2. The slang meaning of “Akata” matches a Hebrew diaspora‑condition word (Strong’s H2398 / H2403: CHATA / CHATTA’AH).
Not linguistically — but functionally. Outside Igboland, “Akata” means:
people not from here
people separated from ancestral land
descendants of the slave trade
This matches the Hebrew concept of a diaspora people who became a byword.
3. This explains why the slang meaning applies ONLY to Black Americans.
Not to Ghanaians, Congolese, Ethiopians, or Afro‑Caribbeans — only to the descendants of the slave trade.
So yes — Akatta has a beautiful meaning in Igbo, and that meaning should be respected. But the other meaning likely came from slave‑trade networks, not Igbo language — which is why it spread across Africa with a completely different sense.
Both meanings exist because they come from different histories.

We are a ministry concerned about the lives of people being made whole and believe that the Most High has raised us up to perpetuate the ministry vision of Yahshua (commonly called "Jesus") the Messiah to make disciples of all nations (ethnic people groups). We believe that it is essential that all believers be taught the following three things: 1) The Roots of the Faith in Messiah - To know where we came from 2) The Future Destiny to Rule with Messiah - To know where we are going 3) To observe ALL that Messiah has commanded - To stay on course until we reach our destiny in Messiah About the Ministry.......... BIMCI focuses on teaching the Scriptures from its original 1st century Hebraic perspective to this 21st century generation. We use terms such as Yahshua HaMashiach, YHWH (we pronounce as "Yahuah") , Baruch HaShem (Bless the Name), Elohim (the High One or The Most High), Torah (instructions, precepts and teaching), Shabbat (Sabbath), etc... all examples of phrases that were actually spoken by our Messiah and his disciples during the 1st century in Israel. We believe that the emphasis on the Biblical/Hebrew roots of our faith brings enrichment to the Scriptures and preserves the core meaning of its message. Ministry Vision Scripture reveals that the Messianic Israelite Community has been given the charge to continue the ministry of Yahshua the Messiah in the earth. This is characterized by: * Declaring the message of the Kingdom Of Elohim * Making disciples of all people * Equipping the believer to do the work of ministry * Ministering to the needs of the afflicted, disadvantaged, imprisoned, & the spiritually weakened to bring them to a place of wholeness Website: http://www.ncmmi.20m.com Mailing Addresses: Beth Israel Messianic Community Int'l Dauid Ben Israel, Overseer 4040 Tyler Street, #10a Tacoma, WA. 98409 Phone: (951) 704-2831 Email: bimci777@gmail.com

The investigation of the People Called The Negro
The investigation of the People Called The Negro SoMuch Media 2 意见 • 19 小时 前

⁣The Investigation of the People Called the Negro follows a historical and Scriptural trail that asks a question rarely examined in full: Who were the people eventually called Negroes, and what happened to their identity through centuries of exile, forced conversion, slavery, migration, and captivity? Rather than beginning with a conclusion, this investigation follows records, maps, names, migrations, Inquisition documents, Portuguese history, Atlantic shipping routes, and accounts of Yahudi and New Christian communities in Iberia and parts of Africa. It examines the expulsion and forced conversion of Yahudi in Spain and Portugal, the transportation of Yahudi children to São Tomé, Jewish and New Christian presence along parts of West Africa, and the enormous Atlantic system that later carried millions of Africans into Brazil, the Caribbean, North America, and other lands.
The investigation then places this history beside Scripture. Deuteronomy describes Yashar’el scattered among the nations, living under judgment, and eventually calling these things to mind while still among the nations before Yahuah gathers them. That pattern raises important questions when compared with the modern awakening among some descendants of the African diaspora who are searching the Scriptures, examining Torah, questioning inherited religious identities, and identifying themselves with biblical Yashar’el.
This investigation does not require every historical clue to prove the entire case by itself. A name on a map, a description in an old book, a Jewish community in West Africa, or a slave record must each be examined within its own historical setting. The larger question comes from placing the evidence together and asking where it leads. Follow the people. Follow the names. Follow the records. Follow the migrations. Follow the ships. Follow the captivity. Then compare the historical evidence carefully with Scripture.
Ultimately, this is more than an investigation into the word Negro. It is an investigation into identity, captivity, remembrance, and restoration. If a scattered people are beginning to remember their history and turn again toward the Elohim of their fathers, then the most important question is not simply, “Who were we?” It becomes, “What does Yahuah require of us now?” Scripture points beyond awakening toward repentance, obedience, faithfulness, and ultimately the gathering that belongs to Yahuah. History may help us follow the forgotten trail, but Scripture tells us what remembrance should produce: a people turning their hearts back to Yahuah.

Enooch 2 - Chap 10

Wie opscheppen over hun slechte daden, stelen,
