The Truth About the Book of Obadiah, is the shortest book in the Hebrew
Bible, consisting of just one chapter with 21 verses. Despite its
brevity, it is rich in meaning and focuses on profound themes of
justice, judgment, and restoration. Prophetically, it speaks to a future
time of judgment for all nations that oppose Yahuah’s chosen people.
Obadiah’s prophecy centers on the nation of Edom, the descendants of
Esau, and their relationship with Israel, the descendants of Jacob.
Edom’s actions against Israel are not forgotten, and the punishment they
