I think I have settled it in my mind. People do not want to hear about their sins. Most people are content with hearing only those favorably good things that they enjoy. They cannot conceive that these good things do not belong to them but rather to God's children. So Satan has convinced the world that they are a child of God. Unfortunately for those who mistakenly believe they are God's children, the writings of the apostles provide two key insights to help us determine who truly belongs to God.

  • John says those who believe in the name of God are his children.

There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:9-13 KJV

This verse is pretty clear on who can become a child of God. It is those who believe in his name. Whose name? The Light! John was also clear on who the light is—the one who came into the world. It is none other than Yahushuah, the Anointed One. However, just as people can pretend to be Christians, they can also pretend to be children of God. This section is the point where I will shatter the illusions and reveal the truth about who truly is and is not a child of God. So we’ll take a look at another statement John wrote to help you distinguish a Child of God from a pretender.

  • John says that those who stop sinning are born of God.

We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.” 1 John 5:18 NASB

“We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.” 1 John 5:18 KJV

I put both the NASB and the KJV versions here so you can cut the drama of making asinine excuses as to why one would think this isn’t talking about them in John 1:9-13 KJV. Your leaders are trying to hide the fact that they aren't truly born of God, so they've made excuses. They have taught you how to rebut the obvious statements of the scriptures concerning sin. If you still sin, you're a slave to sin, and slaves don't stay in God's house, but sons do. So if you claim to be in Christ, then you can't and won’t sin because you are truly born of God.

But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” 1 John 2:5-6 KJV

4) [whoever] [commits] [sin] [also] {commits} [the] [lawless deed] [for] {his} [sin] [is] [the] [lawless deed] 5) [And] [you know] [that] [he was revealed] [to] [remove] [our] [sins] [and] [in] [him] [is] [no] [sin] 6) [whoever] [resides] [in] [him] [{does} not] [sin:] [whoever] [{is} sinning] [has [not] seen] [him] [neither] [{has} known] [him].” 1 John 3:4-6— My Provisionary Greek Translation

Now that the proverbial bubble has been popped, we can move people away from hypocrisy and point them in the direction of truth. The truth is, Satan has deceived the whole world to think that their sin doesn’t matter anymore because Yahushuah died for our sins and has covered them. They think that being in the grace of God means abandoning the necessity of works. So apparently, they have confused the issue. Maybe you didn’t understand Yahushuah’s parable concerning being a slave to sin, so let me point out a few things. This is what Yahushuah said:

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house forever, but the Son abideth forever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:31-36 KJV

The Jews thought that Yahushuah was speaking of physical slavery, but he was speaking in terms of mental and psychological slavery. He was speaking parabolically about the mental and psychological slavery to sin. However, both statements can be true because our ancestors were enslaved by literal Egypt, and we currently live in the land of our captivity; thus, God will deliver us from both forms of bondage. Both the physical and the mental forms of slavery will be freed from us. For the gentiles, who are grafted into Israel, obviously they are only going to be delivered from mental slavery when they are gathered with us on that beautiful day before God’s final act of vengeance totally wipes out the earth.

I believe my Hebrew Israelite family has some issues to address. We are living like devils in the land of our captivity. And the only thing that can save us from physical and mental bondage is knowing the truth. As I demonstrated above, only a born-again individual is a child of God who  is in him. Jesus, the Anointed One! If you claim to be in him but continue to sin, then Yahushuah has said, “…And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth forever.” Only if you are in him can you abide in God’s house forever. To do that, you must be free from the bondage of sin because slaves do not remain in God’s house.

Now that I've broken yet another myth, allow me to present you with a chance to encounter the authentic God described in the writings of Moses and the prophets. With certainty, pretenders will state that it is impossible to cease from sin. They will bring up their go-to verse.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” 1 John 1:8 KJV

I’m always amused that pretenders bring this verse to my attention. They do so in conjunction with the statement, “It is impossible for us to cease from sin; if not, then why did Jesus die for us?” Such a statement demonstrates the inadequate spiritual nourishment they received from the shepherds whom God accused of scattering His sheep. However, these pretenders never read John’s statements in the context of the chapter from which they are trying to extract viper poison. I'm sorry, but those statements will only produce pure holiness, nothing else.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10 KJV

John wrote this statement because, like Jude, he knows that pretenders secretly entered into the house of God and were working to distort the truth. 1 John was likely written between 85 and 96 A.D. It was written to the churches in Asia Minor, possibly Ephesus, to encourage believers and combat false teachings. Though the topic became a serious issue, it didn’t matter because Jesus had already stated, ”…And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth forever.” Yahushuah was talking about the slave who is in bondage to sin. So 1 John 1:8-10 is speaking to those who have apologized to God for their sins and believed the gospel—notice the past tense on that statement—but still have not reached the point of seriously giving up the life that is not in union with God. He was also speaking to those who secretly entered into God’s house without genuinely apologizing for their sins.

People falsely think God doesn't know when they're truly sorry for their sins. So let me explain Paul’s statement about the heart.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:11-12 KJV

Rest your eyes on the last phrase of this statement. Do you see it? Yes, Paul is saying that God knows when you believe and when you don't, and he can read your heart's thoughts and intentions. I, for one, did not understand this when I was in bondage to pornography. For 30-plus years I struggled until I got to the place where I was set free from my private life, coming to God so broken that he delivered me in one night. It was so fast that I did not realize that I was delivered until 3 months later because I realized I had zero desire to do what I was doing. Then 3 months turned into 6, and 6 into 12, and I’ve been free ever since. I can confidently state that being free feels better. I believe that God called me to tell you the truth so you don't have to stay bound as long as I was. You need to break free from the shackles of sin, but this can only happen if you possess a precise understanding of the truth. Knowing that you are in the land of your captivity is wonderful, but that isn’t freeing you from sin. When Yahushuah engaged the pharisees he entirely ignored the stupid statement. They did not know that the sons of Jacob were in physical bondage to Babel. The truth is, the Pharisees who were speaking to Yahushuah were not true genetic Israelites, and they failed to study the course material to instead promote a version called Judaism that was partially developed before their exile to Babylon. It didn’t matter anyway because bondage to sin stretches far across tribal, national, and genetic bounds. This is why Yahushuah disregarded their idiocy, making them look more foolish than they did with their asinine answer regarding slavery.

I want the best for my people in America and all the lands where we are scattered, but if we don't deal with our sin, God will. If you have an ear to hear, listen because I am not telling you a lie. I will leave you with one last scripture verse that will sum up this article.

19) [so] [this] [is] [the] [judicial pronouncement of guilty,] [that] [The] [Light,] [he has come] [into] [the] [world] [and] [mankind] [loved] [the] [darkness] [rather] [than] [The] [Light:] [because] [their] [works] [were] [bad.] 20) [for] [everyone] [doing] [bad] [hates] [The] [Light] [and] [he [{does} not] come] [to] [The] [Light] [in order that] [his] [works] [{are} not] [called into account:] 21) [but] [the one] [doing {works in accordance}] {to} [The] [Truth,] [he comes] [to] [The] [Light,] [in order that] [his] [works] [might be made known,] [that] [it is] [labored] [in] [God.]” John 3:19-21— My Provisionary Greek Translation
