⁣In this crucial third episode of CPR's leadership and spiritual development series "Getting Rid of Old Ways, we disclose the importance of focusing on the act of "Rid." Today's journey is about understanding and addressing the root of the problem. Many old ways persist not because they are inherently good, but because they are serving some underlying, often unconscious, need or fear. We provide four bullet points as strategies for peeling back the layers to uncover why these old ways were adopted in the first place, what purpose they might have served (even if counterproductive now), and what deeper beliefs or patterns are keeping them in place. The overarching biblical precepts for Cultivating Character are taken from Leviticus 19 and Exodus 23. Today, we included John 15:1-2 (I AM the VINE), Matthew 7:16-20(You Will Know Them by Their Fruit), the sower parable from Mark 4:16-17, and Psalm 1:3 (tree planted by streams of water).

Psalm 1 opens the book of Tehillim with a clear choice:
The path of the righteous who delight in Yahuah’s Torah
The path of the wicked who perish

“But his delight is in the Torah of YAH, and on His Torah he meditates day and night.” (Psalm 1:2)

This reading is for the set-apart remnant choosing to walk in YAH’s ways, rooted like a tree by streams of water.

Let the words call you to examine your path and renew your commitment to walk in His Torah and truth.
