After serving as an ordained pastor for 29 years in a non-denominational group of churches, I resigned from my full-time pastoral position at a large multicultural church. Over the past two and a half years, I've conducted in-depth research to gain a deeper understanding of our faith and the contribution of African Americans to the history and development of our Bible. This journey has led me to reevaluate my role as a believer. I have established Berean Scholar, a ministry focused on discussing the presence of black people in the Bible. Our topics include DNA evidence, historical research, and scientific exploration, all aimed at demonstrating that black people were part of the Israelite community in biblical history.
