1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Matthew 13:24-30 The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ 28 He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but (A)gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”
Lust; The Big Elephant In The Room! Lust is a strong craving for sex. It also can mean a hunger for anything, like lust for power. While lust isn't a dirty word, it is a strong word. You don't have lust for something you don't really care about. Lust is a strong, powerful desire, whether it's a noun or verb: you lust for things you deeply crave. James 1:12-15 12 Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Psalm 121:3-7 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keeps thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. Ephesians 6:13-17 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Par For The Course; What is normal or expected in any given circumstances. 1 Peter 4:12-13 12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
1 PETER 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Psalm 23:1-3 The Most High/Lord is my shepherd; "I shall not want". He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness "for his name's sake".
Colossians 3:8,9,12-16 8 But now ye also "put off" all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have "put off the old man" with his deeds; 12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering; 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. 14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. 15 And let the peace of The Most High God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. 16 Let the word of Machiach /Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. Psalm 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; Trust him, and he will act. 1 John 4:19-21 We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hate his brother, he is a liar: for he that love not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who love God love his brother also. So I guess the question would then arise; who's my brother? 2 Peter 1:3-11 Confirming One’s Calling and Election His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Master; Yahusha Ha Machiach/Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Master and Savior Yahusha Ha Machiach/Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:13 For it is The Most High/God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Psalm 100:3 Know that the Master, He is TheMost High; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Yahusha /Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the tree/cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Most High is Faithful, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations; Psalm 19:14 "Let thewordsof my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, "be acceptable" in thy sight, O Most High/LORD, my strength, and my redeemer."
Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, let everything be done to the glory of The Most High/God. Philippians 3:10-17 I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which The Most High/God has called me heavenward in Yahusha Ha Machiach/Christ Jesus. Following Paul’s Example All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained. Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.
Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endure to all. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. Luke 10:20 Notwithstanding, in this rejoice not that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.” Matthew 5:10-13 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. “You are the salt of the earth.

Luke 18:1-8 The Parable of the Persistent Widow Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared what people thought. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’ “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?”
Philippians 2:5-11 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Job 23:10-11 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If The Most High Yah/God be for us, who can be against us? 2 Timothy 1:7 For The Most High Yah/ God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Isaiah 41:13 For I the Master/Lord thy Most High/God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; "I will help thee". Ezekiel 34:30, 31 Thus shall they know that I the Master/Lord their Most High Yah/God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, saith the Master/ Lord The Most High Yah/God. And ye my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your "Power", saith the Master/Lord The Most High Yah/God. 1 John 4:4 Little children, you are from The Most High Yah/God and have overcome them, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Psalm 84:11-12 For the The Most High Yah/God is a sun and shield; the Master/Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Master/Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in You! Psalms 83:18 “That men may know, that thou, whose name alone is Yahuah: art the Most High over all the earth.” Psalm 27:1-3 Of David. The Master/Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Master/Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise against me, yet I will be confident. Psalm 73:25-26 Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
