⁣Was RUTH A Daughter of Ruben or a "Daughter of Moab?" Women of Shem are called "Daughter of whomever their father’s seed is. A daughter of Moab, a Daughter of Laban, a “Daughter of Levi” their father's seed. They are not identified by their former land stealer.

Women from the line of Shem are identified as "daughters" based on their father's lineage, not by the land from which they come. For example, they are referred to as a "daughter of" their father's seed, such as a daughter of Moab, a daughter of Laban, or a daughter of Levi.

The question arises: did the Canaanites’ Masoretic translation modify the Bible to label Ruth as a "daughter of Moab" by calling her a Moabite? Or is this designation a misnomer, similar to how African Americans are called Americans based on citizenship and birth, yet are truly the descendants of Jacob, or Israel?
