My Personal Test (look for allergic reactions, etc when trying new foods, medicines): I always pray first to Jehovah for healing. After perking using a small manual cappuchino maker I perked a few leaves of lemon or fever grass on top of the stove. I washed and cut up a handful of green pitch pine leaves . After the expresso pot cooled a bit . I poured the hot lemongrass water over the pitch pine leaves and let it steep for a bit. I tested it by swishing 1 TBSP of the mixture around in my mouth for a little while then I spit it out into the toilet. A few minutes later I spat out 1 set of mucus, within 1 hour I spat out mucus 9 times. I did not drink it yet, and that was the result of the test. After 1 hour I swallowed 2 TBSP (Tablespoon) of the tea and 12+ hours later no adverse side effects.
