Through Adversity & Affliction

⁣Isaiah 30:20-21 NLT.
Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering/affliction for drink, he will still be with you to teach you.
You will see your teacher with your own eyes.
Your own ears will hear him.
Right behind you a voice will say,
“This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.

Isaiah 41:11-13 NLT.
“See, all your angry enemies lie there,
confused and humiliated.
Anyone who opposes you will die
and come to nothing.
You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you.
Those who attack you will come to nothing.
For I hold you by your right hand
I, the Lord your God.
And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid.
I am here to help you.
