Painted Mountain Corn & Rug Mulch Experiment

Painted Mountain corn is a fast-maturing, open-pollinated, and exceptionally hardy corn variety known for its vibrant colors and ability to withstand harsh climates. Developed by Dave Christensen in Montana, it's adapted to short growing seasons, cold temperatures, intense heat, and drought. It's characterized by its compact plants, long, slender cobs, and kernels in a spectrum of colors including golds, oranges, reds, and purples.
