Artists' Bio:
Joy Lester is a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is a Preacher’s Kid from a large family who, on occasions, would be requested to sing before her father brought the message.
As an adult, her gifting of music opened doors to hold the position as a worship leader of a predominately Spanish-speaking church. In addition, Joy has sung professional background vocals for an award-winning Gospel Artist.
Her passions include writing songs from scripture and writing poetry. She has a desire to use her voice as a mighty weapon to pull down strongholds according to II Corinthians 10:4; “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through Yah to the pulling down of strongholds”.
Joy Lester holds a Diploma of Theology from Faith Christian University. She is a wife, mother, and grandmother, who currently resides in Davie, Florida where she and her husband minister to teenage boys.
