⁣When I was in elementary school and in the children's choir our director would add this song to our holiday program though it was not a Christmas song. She told us that it was originally written by Jews who believed their Messiah had not yet come. But was adopted by Christian believers and words were updated accordingly. Well I always liked the melody and cadence and i started mapping it out on piano and this is my "adaptation" from it's traditional format to where the Ruach ha Qodash took it. This song is just me and my family recorded at home including my daughter Aj sharing vocal lead with me We hope the song is a ministry to our people.
