Most people talk about YAH like He’s an idea…
a doctrine…a distant force…a rulebook in the sky.
But the Scriptures never describe Him that way.
From Genesis to Revelation, YAH reveals Himself as a Divine Being with a real heart —a heart that feels, responds, loves, grieves, rejoices, warns, and even breaks.
Religion has a way of stripping Him of emotion,
flattening Him into a concept instead of a Father,
a Husband, a Redeemer who cares deeply about His people.
But the Holy Word shows His soul on full display:
His heartbreak when we turn away.
His frustration when we refuse to listen.
His sadness when we choose idols over intimacy.
His joy when we return.
His compassion when we cry out.
His anger when injustice rises.
His patience that stretches farther than we deserve.
YAH is not cold.
He is not distant.
He is not emotionless.
He is the Living ALahayam whose heart beats through every page of Scripture.
And this song is a reminder of that heartbeat —
the ache, the longing, the love, and the warning.
Grace is real… but it’s not to be abused.
His love is deep… but it’s not to be taken lightly.
Seek Him while He may be found.
Return before the silence becomes your only company.

In this episode of "I Was There", VICE meets with Ramona Africa, one of the only survivors of the police bombing in a residential neighborhood of Philadelphia in 1985. The bombing was a result of a conflict between the Philadelphia police department and the MOVE organization, the black liberation group in which Ramona belonged. The targeted house was the headquarters of the MOVE group, which had garnered complaints from their neighbors in the predominantly Black neighborhood.Watch the "I Was There" full series here: https://www.youtube.com/playli....st?list=PLDbSvEZka6G here to subscribe to VICE: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-VICEAbout VICE:The Definitive Guide To Enlightening Information.
