Edge of the Earth by Ashanda McCants

I'm standing at the edge of the earth
It hurts cause even though I was formed from the dirt
Chaos is covering the world and its stage
We're all being played, like an animal that's caged
Like a fiddle, I'm a little perturbed by the situation
My mind is tailspinning like I got a reservation
At a clinic, trying to find an explanation
Tired of the news telling lies on every station
Tired of the mask beyond the ones covering faces
Tired of the lies that leave us all in devastation
We're all in this together but can't touch one another
So I'm dropping these words to my sisters and my brothers
We don't know when we're going, we don't know what will be
The final curtain is prepared and the devil has to flee
Paranoia on here for ya is causing mass confusion
Everybody chasing something but the truth still eludes them
The truth still confuse them, blind leading the blind
Both ended up in ditches where the Pharoah made em grind
More bricks without straw, more straw without hay
Our soles are tired from the toiling but we're learning how to pray
And we're living for today because tomorrow and soon after
Isn't promised unto us so we try to live with laughter
We try to hug our children, try to feed them well
But the television wants to lead them all to hell
And I'm tired of the lies, and I'm tired of being tired
Cause all I see is war when the fire is on the line
And its getting to the point where I'm fighting for my faith
But I can't say that I am weak because this mask is on my face
And its' time to be a leader, before the Father weeds the lawn
And removes all of the cowards who are pretending to be strong
And before I keep on going I'll just say it is the truth
I don't want to be an Orpah, I would rather to be a Ruth
I would rather have the famine, I would rather work and toil
If it means my soul is faithful that I know I'll have a Boaz
And the husbandman is Jesus, Hebrew known as Yahusha
He will step into the dry land, He's prepared for Yasharal
Gathering His people from every part of the earth
I am standing on the edge but I know its for the work
I know that He'll insert Himself into this perferct storm
So my sisters and my brothers, He needs us to hold on
He needs you to be strong and trust in Him to move
When all is said and done everyone will know the truth
Receipts will be pulled and Egypt's gonna lose
So we're standing on the edge but the army is confused
And the sea is parting, we'll crossover dryshod
To the place that He will take us, so we can worship God

⁣“Israelite Expulsion from Spain and Portugal: Into Africa and the Americas”
This video uncovers one of the most overlooked chapters of Israelite history — the mass expulsion of Afro‑Iberian Jews and Afro‑Asiatic Israelites from Spain and Portugal between the 1400s and 1600s, and how their forced displacement reshaped populations across Africa and the Americas.
Beginning with the Alhambra Decree (1492) and the Portuguese Edicts (1496–1497), the video traces how Black and Afro‑Asiatic Israelites — including Sephardic Jews, Conversos, Marranos, and Lançados — were expelled, enslaved, deported, or pushed into exile. Many fled into North Africa, while others were forcibly transported into West Africa, merging with existing Israelite‑linked communities already present in the Sahel and coastal regions.
From there, the video follows the next stage of the diaspora:
Expelled Israelites entering Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya
Forced deportations into Senegal, Gambia, Guinea‑Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Angola
The rise of Afro‑Sephardic merchant communities along the West African coast
The eventual transfer of many of these same populations into the Americas during the Atlantic slave trade
This is the forgotten migration arc connecting Iberia, Africa, and the New World — revealing how the expulsion of Israelites from Western Europe contributed directly to the formation of African‑descended Israelite communities across the Atlantic.
The video breaks down:
The Iberian Inquisition and racialized expulsion policies
Afro‑Iberian Israelite communities before 1492
Deportation routes into North & West Africa
Cultural and genealogical continuity across the diaspora
How these movements shaped later populations in the Americas
This is the historical bridge between Europe, Africa, and the Americas — a story rarely told, but essential for understanding the full Israelite diaspora.
