⁣Although most people think of slavery as a matter of racial oppression, sources say that between 1500 and 1800, human bondage was often based on religion rather than on race. In fact, Muslim Arabs profited from the slave trade centuries before Europeans explored the continent of Africa and long before so-called West Africans were sold across the Atlantic to America. In this 3rd session of the series, time for the nations to reap; it is time for us to talk about the slave drivers involved in the trafficking of the chosen people.

While it has no current medical application, the related derivative compound, carbazochrome, is a hemostatic

Aldous Huxley’s 1954 essay “The Doors of Perception”, written mostly about his experiences with mescaline, discusses the possibility that adrenochrome is a compound with similar effects to the psychedelic cactus. He has not taken it, and doesn’t know how one would obtain it, saying just that it’s spontaneously produced by the human body. He describes it as “a product of the decomposition of adrenaline”, which is, surprisingly, correct.

Just like Huxley said, adrenochrome is a compound formed by the oxidation of adrenaline. Its main medical use is to slow blood loss by promoting clotting in open wounds. It’s available for purchase online by researchers, with most outlets stating its source is synthetic and its uses are the inhibition of COMT (which deactivates certain neurotransmitters), and the synthesis of prostaglandins (fats involved with blood clotting).

Who Got WAC?

⁣I have been processing through alot. Especially in light of the Massacre of Hebrews in #Buffalo NY. I had a conversation with a dear friend and described how I felt indifferent to the whole thing and felt almost like I had no emotion towards it. The reality is, that I had not had a chance to process through what has JUST HAPPENED.

Tonight, the magnitude of what took place hit me, and I was filled with grief. In my grief, in order to express myself, I created this video tribute/memorial to the victims and survivors of the Buffalo massacre.

I likely will be taking time off this week to process through what this past weekend really means for Israel. Are we going to act like this is normal or acceptable and continue with life as normal? This was a REAL HATE CRIME!!!

If you haven't had a chance to grieve or express yourself, I encourage you to find a healthy outlet to do so. Also, I encourage you all to leave a comment in this post as led to express yourself.
